Shaahin Cheyene - Iranian Born Writer, Filmmaker and Herbalist

Shaahin Cheyene is an Iranian born writer, filmmaker, lecturer and herbalist based in Los Angeles. For over 15 years, Cheyene has traveled worldwide extensively and worked with healers and medicine men and women from all over the world in an effort to document and preserve their medicines and traditions.

In the early 1990's while still in his teens, Shaahin Cheyene headed the smart drug group by inventing Herbal Ecstacy as well as other award winning herbal products. Cheyene later developed the first mass market herbal cigarette brand that was known as Ecstasy Cigarettes. Ecstacy Cigarettes became the most winning brand of herbal cigarettes in all over the world. Cheyene has been called the “Willy Wonka of Generation X” and compared to the likes of Bill Gates and PT Barnum.

In the end of 1990, Cheyene was the first person to travel to Mexico and discover a commercial source for the shamanic Mexican plant Salvia Divnorum. Cheyene has worked with several of the major pharmaceutical companies from the world in an effort to bring the technologies and benefits of plant medicines to the mainstream. The next year, Shaahin Cheyene developed a revolutionary new technology and also spearheaded the vaporization movement. He invented and patented the Vapir Vaporizer and published the ultimate book on the science of Vaporization.
