How chemistry in FIFA Ultimate Team is calculated

One of the most frustrating things facing players of FIFA 15 Coins is having a team which lacks chemistry. Players may invest endless amounts of time and effort creating a theoretically strong squad, though this will be in vain if the players do not work well together and get a good FIFA Ultimate Team chemistry. To understand chemistry of teams you need to know how it is calculated, how it affects your teams performance and the individuals managers contribution. We will now explain how to calculate FIFA Ultimate Team chemistry.

FIFA Ultimate Team chemistry in the simplest terms is an acid test for the relations between the players within your squad. The chemistry is based upon the players’ happiness to play in the position he is played, along with his compatibility with other players and the formation that he is being played in. Of course everyone knows that a striker will not be happy playing in goal and vice versus, however people seem to underestimate outfield players, playing out of position.

EA sports released information which highlighted the importance of good team chemistry. They stated in their report that a bronze team with perfect chemistry, denoted by a level of 100, can easily beat a gold team with bad chemistry (obviously still dependent on the user’s playing ability). The information of course means that you should aim to build your FIFA Ultimate Team chemistry when making your squad, and not to just get good players. Ideally get good players in the right formation and position, linking with other players from the same league/nation/club.

There are however two different types of chemistry, the first being the overall chemistry of the team, and the second being the chemistry of the individual players. Player chemistry is represented by a number between 0 and 9, whereas squad chemistry is based on a figure between 0 and 100.

When purchasing players you should look to buy players already set in the right formation and position. For example if your squad is set up in a 4-3-3 formation then you should aim to purchase players already set in the 4-3-3 formation because otherwise it could be costly buying a formation change card which could cost up to 10k depending on which formation you play in (4-1-2-1-2 formation cards are the most expensive). Players who manage to do this can easily achieve a total chemistry level of 100, and win against any opposition more easily as your players work for one another. The reading itself of chemistry can be manipulated by the player. This is achieved by selecting a manager (set in the right formation as it gives +10 to your total chemistry level!) and a starting 11 all in the right formation and positions.

Although it was previously stated that chemistry significantly affects them game, it was not really stated exactly how this is the case. It is important to know how chemistry affects game play in order to best harness its effects. The chemistry simply maximises the team’s effectiveness of working together, making runs for one another. Online players do believe that have lesser chemistry can harm their player’s in-game ability with their players missing opportunities that they otherwise wouldn’t on 9 chemistry. Chemistry therefore can be seen as a measure FIFA COINS PS4  of efficiency, of the extent to which you maximise players’ abilities.
