No Pro Clubs For Last Gen

Pro Clubs was basically my most played game mode in fIFA 15 coins 300K . Admittedly, I’m the exception rather than the rule, with FIFA Ultimate Team easily the dominant game mode in the series these days, but it’s still quite disappointing to see EA announcing that the last generation versions of the game on PS3 and Xbox 360 will be missing out on the Pro Clubs game mode. If you want your Pro Clubs fix, that’s for the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions only.

In a statement from EA, they said:

We’re very confident in the amount of innovation and depth we’re delivering for FIFA 15 on PS3 and Xbox 360 but there are some things we couldn’t do for FIFA 15 on PS3 and Xbox 360, either based on the limitations of these consoles, or our time and resources. Most notably, Pro Clubs will not be a mode in FIFA 15 on Xbox 360 and PS3.

Considering its inclusion from last year, it definitely feels like this one has been removed to save on time and resources, rather than console limitations. Certainly, it’s going to save on the amount of time these versions of the game have to spend in testing, as it removes one tricky part of the game to test and code, but there’s also the savings on server time that EA will find.

Eurogamer has a handy list of the game modes that will appear in the PS3 and 360 versions:

FIFA Ultimate Team – Loan Players, Concept Squads, Friendly Seasons and Legends (Xbox One and Xbox 360 only).

Career Mode – managing your squad.
