Architectural Design Milford CT is an art and science that aims at designing and creating new structures, buildings, bridges, parks and many more things. Architectural Designers play a vital role in shaping the beauty and functionality of a place. The word architect refers to any person who is involved in the planning process of a building or urban landscape. Architectural Designers are responsible for providing the feasibility study for the development of the building or other places. They also play a key role in making the clients meet their budgets.

Planning is an essential part of the construction process and is undertaken by the Architectural Designers. Planning includes the study of space planning, technical as well as economic aspects, future patterns of growth etc. These are the aspects which are considered very critical for any new constructions. They provide the basic guideline for every project and help in ensuring that the construction procedure adheres to the highest standards. This is of utmost importance because construction projects are meant to last for many years.

There are various types of architectural designers. Some of them are generalists who take care of the major components. They make sure that the construction process follows a certain pattern and is smoothly executed. These include space planning, structural design, electrical drafting, structural stability, environmental analysis, structural detailing etc. They are the ones who take care of the blueprint of the project and ensure that everything goes according to plan. The main responsibility of these architects includes planning the technical, economic, social and environmental aspects of any project.

An Architectural Design professional also drafts the plans of any building or structure and then makes sure that they are followed to the last detail. It is the job of these architects to use architecture, materials, machines and techniques to make a structure look beautiful. There are numerous architectural styles present in the world. Each of these architectural styles has its own specialties and features. A good Architectural Designer must be able to understand the needs of the client and design the construction keeping in mind their preferences and needs.

There are three basic phases in architectural design. They are initiation, concept design and execution. During the initiation stage, an overall concept is formed and the architect starts working on it to explore the idea. The initiator wants to know what the client wants from him so that he can come up with a better plan.

On the second day of the initiation phase, the client gets down to work. He will have his requirements and specifications ready. The project scope, features, purpose, and resources are discussed in this stage. The first objective is to prepare the overall project vision and the second objective is to define the methodology by which this can be achieved.

Concept design develops the basis for the architecture. It is also known as a sketch or drawing of the architecture which shows its features, including scale, materials used, size, shape, and location. It is typically done on the basis of sketches and floor plans of existing buildings. The third phase of the architectural design development deals with the feasibility study for construction of the proposed building.

In general, the architect spends about 12 weeks in the conceptual phase, getting to know the client's needs, preparing a plan, executing the plan, and determining the final design. This is followed by the pre-design phase, which lasts until the home has been approved by the local council or the building permit has been obtained. An architect cannot start working on a custom home without the approval of the local council.
