Productive Habits to Become a Morning Person

Sometimes getting out of bed and doing something productive can be really hard; but with these tips and habits, hopefully your morning will be a little bit easier. 

1.  Wake up an hour before you need to. 

Whether you need to leave the house or be at your desk by a certain time, waking up an hour before you need to be somewhere is a great way to stay ahead of it. Especially if you are working from home, it’s tempting to wake up just in time to change, brush your teeth and get something to eat. But, if you wake up an hour earlier, you will have enough time to get fully dressed, eat a nice breakfast, and probably won’t be as tired when you start work. 

2. Get up as soon as your alarm goes off

Hearing your alarm ring might be your least favorite sound, especially after a later night. Though it may seem hard, just push yourself to get out of bed right when your alarm goes off. This will get you out of your bed, and less likely to hit snooze two or three times after it. If it helps, try keeping your alarm away from your bed so you have to get up to turn it off. There are also apps that make you answer questions to turn off your alarm.
