In the year 2005 at the age of 15, one of his friends provided him with an old turntable and from that day Cruz has been operating the decks. He began DJing with vinyl, turning in the crates at the native record stores constantly, outlaying all that he had. With a timely transition to Serato, he was able to discover the musical world limitlessly. In 2007 Cruz then at the age of 17, accomplished the ‘Rookie DJ of the Year’ honour and also got the wonderful break to have a residency at one of Switzerland’s highly reputed clubs, the Kaufleuten in Zurich.
