2015 is almost history, and you need to ring in 2016 in the best way possible. Where to go? What to do? How much can I afford? These are questions that need to be asked, but if you want to make the end of the old year and the beginning of the new the most magical, wonderful and exciting experience possible, there is only one logical conclusion: Costa Rica!

Costa Rica is often called the "Switzerland of the Americas," but it is much more than that. It is home to some of the most beautiful, majestic scenery anywhere in the world. It is also a country inhabited by warm, friendly people who are happy to welcome guests and demonstrate the world class hospitality that is the hallmark of this jewel of a nation. The people are wonderful the food, music and scenery is the amazing, and it could not be easier to book your Costa Rica New Year adventure. Flights to San Jose (The capital city) are cheap and plentiful and the Costa Rica resort packages available for the New Year 2016 must be seen to be believed!

Let's face facts: New York City is a great place, but on New Year's Eve it’s a great big grubby tourist farm. Do you want to ring in 2016 freezing shoulder to shoulder with the teeming masses in Times Square? Wouldn’t you rather spend it knee deep in the beautiful warm waters of one of the amazing beaches of Costa Rica?

Whether you desire the wonderful madhouse that is Playa Jaco near the capital (You have to check out the Monkey Bar) or are want to experience the tranquil beauty of Mal Pais (WAY off the beaten track), Costa Rica has the water, sand and magic to create an unforgettable New Year's experience.

Wherever you stay in Costa Rica the hotel staff and locals will make you feel that you are truly at home, and that the New Year's fun will be customized and unique.

Did someone mention food? The food in Costa Rica is incredible, and has the added benefit of being both fresh and healthy! Whether you desire the staple dishes of gallo pinto (black beans) or more exotic fare like spicy shrimp, swordfish, seabass, fresh pork, chicken and the amazing olla de carne (traditional beef stew), Costa Rica has the right taste for your New Year menu!

Vegans—there’s love for you, too! There so many fruits and vegetables (Tropical cabbage, papaya, avocados) and local breads to make you glad that you don't bother with meat! Don’t worry about searching too hard—there are plenty of friendly beachfront restaurants that are vegan-friendly and delicious to boot!

Seriously, come to Costa Rica for New Year 2016! Forget the ball dropping in Times Square and come experience fireworks on the beach! We have everything to make the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016 the best time of your life. Pretty much all Costa Rica resorts have vacation packages to make this experience easy and affordable, so what's to say no to?

See you on the beach!
