Porter Cable is one of the brands you can trust; they provide adequate warranties and back their products up with Porter Cable parts widely available so you’re not left stranded if anything goes wrong inside your tool. I was looking for a circular saw when I found out a combo kit that included what I wanted and a drill, work light and saws-all. It was a Reclaim Store so I got the package for a lot less than what it would have cost in a usual retail store like Home Depot or Lowes.

The kit was brand new when I purchased it and came with a 4 ampere hour (Ah) battery. I was very glad and impressed with the deal. My wife and I live off lattice and for me to utilize any of my power devices I need to start up a generator to run them. I own a Rigid 8 kilo Watt temporary workers’ generator, in addition to one on my Lincoln welding machine and another little LP controlled generator in addition to our stand alone for the house that supplements the PV boards and Turbine when require. Yes, we use quite a few generators.

Since getting the set two months prior have just utilized my Black & Decker 15 ampere round saw once. I have utilized both saw and the drill to fabricate an expansive puppy house for our Great Pyrenees, a twofold Decker rabbit box which expands over seven feet in length and other general development employments.

The one 4Ah battery that came with the combo kit can run the saws and penetrate throughout the day. Using that saw I was able to tear 2 inch x 6 inch sheets, cross cut 2 inch x 12 inch timber, cut ¾ inch plywood length savvy and driven in 4 inch wood screws without any hassle whatsoever. I also utilized the saws-all to cut one inch point press, a few pieces, and 5/8 inch round stock without any issues.

I have still to run the battery down, and I like the thought of the Lithium-Ion battery as it remains focused the majority of the time prepared for use, where as the Nickel-Cadmium cell in my Black & Decker if left on charging port for a comparatively longer period of time it will damage the battery. To make things even more convenient, I have bought the quick charge battery charger and am planning to buy the jig saw and processor. As I live on an off-network cultivate these devices are a god send as at whatever time I expected to utilize power instruments for anything I needed to start up a generator, now I don't. These 4 ampere hour (Ah) batteries cost more than the tools themselves yet they are a totally justified investment along with the quick charge charger.
