Fastbraces.. a patients success story

Nick contacted LS1 Dental Leeds, as like so many of our patients he has unhappy with his smile , he had toyed with the idea of a brace on and off for a few years now . However he had always been put off by the thought of wearing a brace for up to 2 years, there had never really been a time which he felt he could do this .Not to mention the cost and possible need for extractions. Nick had seen our advert about Fastbraces and was keen to find out more about the new treatment.

Chloe a member of our reception team took Nick's call , and advised him to book in for  a free consultation to see if he was suitable for the treatment and so he could gain more information,

At his consultation Nick met with Dr Hare, who was able to talk Nick through the treatment options and costs.  On examination Nick had mild crowding of his upper central teeth and was a suitable candidate for the Fastbraces treatment ( xrays were also taken during his appointment ) . Dr Hare explained to Nick that he felt  his treatment would take 5- 6 months to complete , Nick was over the moon... not only was it quick he did not require any extractions .

Nicks appointment stages  

First appointment- 4 brackets were bonded to his upper teeth ( upper right 2 - upper left two )  - appointment took just 30 minutes - nick came in before work and was taken aback by how simple the process was and NO PAIN !

Month One -    The remaining brackets were added to the rest of his upper teeth - appointment took 45 minutes -   and again Nick fitted this in between jobs

Month 2   -  Brackets were added to Nick's lower teeth and the bands on the upper teeth checked/ changed -   appointment took 45 minutes -

Month 3-   review of Nicks progress & bands changed  Plus power chain added-  Appointment took 30 minutes

Month 4- power chains changed to help with final movement -  Nick was already over the moon with the results !!

Month 5-   we were able to remove the brace !  and impressions taken for Nick's retainer - " i can not believe the results in what seems such a short time !! pleased is an understatement "  Nick was extremely grateful to the team

Review appointment -   Nicks retainer was given to him / advice on after care -  and the importance of night time wear, to ensure his fantastic results stay that way !
