AUBIKA Battery For Quest 2

The Oculus Quest 2 headset comes with a built-in battery that should last for hours. However, it’s important to check your controllers’ battery level regularly so you don’t run out of power in the middle of a game session.

Unlike the in-built battery, controllers use disposable AA alkaline batteries, which can quickly deplete. If you want to extend the life of your controllers, consider buying a charging dock that uses rechargeable batteries.

We are innovators and pioneers

Lithium-ion batteries have transformed the way we use energy. They power our laptops, tablets, phones and electric cars as well as solar-powered aircraft like the record-setting Solar Impulse 2.

The technology is still evolving today as researchers find ways to increase battery life and reduce their size. While materials like aluminum are being explored as possible alternatives, lithium-ion has proven to be the king of batteries.

But the breakthrough wasn't always there. It took some serious tinkering and research to get there. The initial version of a lithium-ion battery was invented by Dr. Stanley Whittingham at Exxon in the 1970s. He used a mixture of metal oxides and higher, 4-volt materials to create a new type of rechargeable battery.

When he left the company in 1980 he found himself working with another chemist, John Goodenough, at the University of Texas. Goodenough discovered he could produce the cells in an uncharged state and then charge them later, which greatly increased their capacity.

He also discovered a way to make the batteries more durable. This was done by using a combination of high-temperature, electrochemical and thermal processes.

This allowed batteries to be manufactured in much smaller and lighter forms than they had been in the past, which was a major boost for consumer electronics companies. It was this work that earned Whittingham, Goodenough and Yoshino their Nobel Prize in Chemistry this year.

The company’s award-winning Smart 3D Electrode technology improves all key performance metrics in any battery chemistry, increasing energy density and power, enhancing safety, and extending lifetime – all without a change in cost. The innovation unlocks the full potential of next-generation battery chemistries to address growing global battery demand driven by electrification trends and decarbonization mandates.

We make pro-level VR gear accessible and affordable for all levels

Buying a pro-level VR headset for gaming can be an expensive venture, but AUBIKA makes them accessible and affordable to all gamers. Most headsets require a powerful gaming rig and can be difficult to set up. Most headsets also have a separate tracking device that requires you to place sensors around the VR playspace. This can take up space in your home, so standalone VR solutions are usually more practical. The Aubika battery for quest 2 is an easy way to get started with VR without breaking the bank. It combines comfort, durability and functionality in an innovative design that will help you stay focused on your game and forget about the hassles.
