14 Springboks begin their RWC test series prep with alignment camp

The first practicing camp of the 2023 year, will take place in Cape Town from Sunday, February 19, to Friday, March 10. It will serve as the Springboks' official start to their training for the Rugby World Cup 2023 season. The South Africa first team practice in 2023 will only feature 14 players as they prepare for the September and October Rugby World Cup 2023 in France.

All of the athletes are of national significance and haven't participated in United Rugby Championship (URC) competition in the past few weeks.

Both on-field and off-field practices

In order to physically and rugby equip the participants for the rest of the season, the camp will include a number of off-field alignment workshops in addition to on-field practice sessions.
