Avatar 3 The Seed Bearer Revealed

A decade after the first Avatar film hit theaters, fans are ready to see more of James Cameron's Pandora adventures. And now, new details have been revealed about Avatar 3 The Seed Bearer.

The first sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water, introduced a bunch of new characters to the world of Pandora. Avatar 3 will feature more of them, including the Ash People, a fire-based race that's been teased throughout the series.

Story

Avatar 3 The Seed Bearer is the third installment in James Cameron’s Avatar saga and will be released December 20, 2024. The sequel follows Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and his family as they take refuge on Pandora, the planet where their clan is located.

While Avatar 2 focused largely on Jake Sully and Zoe Saldana’s Neytiri, Avatar 3 will shift the focus to Britain Dalton’s Lo’ak. In the first film, Lo’ak was the underdog among the Sullys, and he almost got his elder brother Neteyam killed. In Avatar 3, Lo’ak will grow into a more significant character and will have to choose between his Na’vi tribe and the human world.

We also know that Avatar 3 will include the arrival of evil fire Na’vi known as Ash People. These people are aggressive and hostile towards the Na’vi, and they will have to be fought off in order for the Sullys to save their home planet.

Additionally, Avatar 3 will feature the return of Brendan Cowell as Mick Scoresby, a Tulkun hunter who had his hand brutally ripped off by Payakan in the first movie. He will be returning to enact his revenge on the Tulkuns.

The third movie will also introduce a new voice to the Avatar series. As per a recent interview, director James Cameron will replace Sam Worthington’s Jake Sully as the narrator of Avatar 3.
