                     Reducing Deforestation: Halting deforestation and promoting sustainable forestry practices can prevent the release of stored carbon in trees and soil.

                     Adopting Sustainable Agriculture: Implementing regenerative agricultural practices, reducing methane emissions from livestock, and minimizing nitrogen-based fertilizers can mitigate emissions from agriculture.

The Global Effort

Carbon mitigation is a global endeavor. International agreements, such as the Paris Agreement, aim to unite countries in their commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Each nation sets its carbon mitigation targets and implements policies and practices to achieve them.

Individuals and businesses also play a crucial role. By adopting sustainable practices, reducing waste, and supporting renewable energy, everyone can contribute to carbon mitigation.
