5 Lessons Learned on My Umrah Journey

Going for the blessed Umrah journey is a great sensation loved by millions of Muslims around the whole world. Apart from the physical and mental struggle while visiting to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina, the spiritual importance of Umrah provides great life changing lessons that connect deeply with pilgrims. By reviewing other's Umrah experience, we have come to a conclusion that there are many lessons you can learn but here are the five deeply profound lessons that have transformative changes in the life of countless pilgrims.

 Submitting to Faith and Trusting in Divine Guidance:

The true soul of Umrah lies in surrendering oneself to the will of Allah (SWT). According to pilgrims as they undertook the ritual of Tawaf by walking around the Kaaba and finished the Sa'i ritual which is walking between the hills of Safa and Marwa, they felt an overwhelming sense of submission to God. This lesson has taught us to don't worry about the things we can't control and place our trust without any thought in the wisdom of Allah, knowing that He will guide us through every challenge and struggle.

Umrah is the second most blessed journey that brings together people from other countries, traditions, and languages, all come together in one place to worship one Allah (SWT). In the middle of the sea of pilgrims, you will witness the unity in diversity. This experience willarose in many hearts a deeply profound appreciation for the richness of human diversity and the importance of fostering harmony and understanding in an increasingly interconnected world.

 Gratitude for Blessings:

Performing Umrah in the sacred boundaries of Makkah and Medinah is a modestcall to remind pilgrims about the blessings that have been bestowed upon us by our creator Allah (SWT). As you stood before the Kaaba, youwouldn't help but feel gratitude towards the countless blessings in your life like health, family,and spiritual guidance. This type of journey will help youfortify the significance of showing modest thanktoward our creator in all situations, knowing that every blessing, doesn't how small, is a displayof Allah (SWT) mercy and love. This lesson has overwhelmedmany to makeup a mindset of gratitude and appreciation, toward the beauty of life's blessings among the trials and problems.

Umrah is a test to see the physical and emotional tenacity, which needs patience and adaptability while facing any difficult. From walking throughthe busy streets to waiting for long hours of prayer and reflection, the journey willgive you manychallenges that will test our resolve and patience. But with each trial you will learn a good lesson that will help you in your life. With this lesson, you will learn to handleyour problem asan opportunityto grow mentally while knowing that Allah's has plan for your hardships and also reward in here and afterlife. This experience will give you a lesson that the significance of resilience is in overcoming life's difficulties, reminding you that waiting patiently is not just an ability but the strong will to endure with faith and fortitude.

This lesson has encouraged many to go towardregular improvement and changes, gaining knowledge, and spiritual growth to get closer to Allah (SWT).
