Planning to immigrate to Canada from India involves several steps, the first being checking your eligibility in the Canada 67 points calculator. If eligible, you can create a profile and enter the pool. Candidates with the highest Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to submit a complete application for Canada PR.

To submit a PR application with a complete list of documents, IRCC gives you 60 days. The processing will take 5-6 months, even shorter defending the completeness of your application.

What is the next step after getting ITA for Canada PR?

  • A divorce certificate for each divorce you had, if applicable.

  • A marriage and death certificate, if applicable.
