Reliance launches 4G VoLTE supported handsets in India

Indian smartphone manufacturer Reliance has recently launched two new handsets- Lyf Flame 7 and Lyf Wind 7 in India equipped with 4G VoLTE and HD voice support. Reliance Jio 4G service is not commercially available to consumers as of now but they are providing free 4G SIM card along with first 90 days of free unlimited data and voice calling services with all the Lyf mobile phones. According to survey, Reliance Jio 4G services is claimed to offer much better speed of approximately 22Mbps than any other 4G connection in present times.

Lyf Flame 7 comes with 4-inch WVGA IPS LCD display with 480x800p resolution and 218ppi pixel density and protected with Asahi Dragontrail Glass against any scratches or accidental damage. It is packed with 1.5GHz Spreadtrum SC9830A chipset paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt storage (which is expandable upto 32GB via microSD card). It delivers average camera performance with 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front camera. In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB 2.0 and GPS.

Lyf Wind 7 sports better features like 5-inch HD display with 1280p resolution and 294ppi pixel density, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage (expandable pto 128GB), faster quad-core processor. The camera quality is decent with 8MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera. The battery backup of 2250mAH is more powerful than 1750 battery of Flame 7. The connectivity options of Wind 7 are similar to that of Lyf Flame 7. It is available in three colour variants- black, white and blue.

Reliance Lyf Flame 7 and Wind 7 are reasonably priced at Rs 3,499 and Rs 6,999 respectively and are available for purchase at Reliance Digital, Spice Digital, Digital xpress and other offline stores.
