We need restful sleep to restore our cells, immune system and body

For deep, restful sleep choose a natural mattress – if you have allergies take a look at natural or organic mattresses.

It's wise to spend lots of time identifying your mattress. Remember you spend more time in your bed than you spend on any other piece of furniture.

CHECK-LIST FOR FINDING THE BEST MATTRESS FOR YOU :

SUPPORT & COMFORT

The weight of the person sleeping on the mattress is a primary factor in your choice of mattress. The heavier you are, the firmer the Latex has to be to support your spine.Think of purchasing a thicker Latex Mattress such as an 8” rather than a 6” to give more support.

if your body, weight and health changes with age then your comfort requirements will change too. There can be

health changes like osteoporeosis or arthritis which could mean you would need a more supportive mattress.

RECOMMENDED SIZE OF MATTRESS

2 adults can hold comfortably on a King Size Mattress

2 adults can sleep less comfortably on a Queen Size Mattresses

2 adults will be slightly uncomfortable on a Double size Mattress

2 adults will be very uncomfortable on a Twin size Mattress

CHEMICAL FREE

Organic and natural latex mattresses are very pure and free of synthetic materials. Mattresses constructed with innersprings and polyurethane foam can contain 40 or more synthetic chemicals some of which are extremely toxic.

DURABILITY

A good latex mattress will last 25 to 30 years or more. Dunlop Latex because of its manufacturing process lasts longer than Talalay Latex. With the Talalay process rubber sap is whipped with air and therefore has less material and more air. It is less dense than Dunlop but won't be as durable.

MANUFACTURERS

Choose a manufacturer who specializes & has experience in producing Natural & Organic Mattresses. They will have relationships with suppliers of certified natural mattress components. Because they specialize, they will be able to do their due diligence with regard to obtaining the highest quality certified Natural or Organic materials.

NATURAL AND ORGANIC MATERIALS

For the mattress to be organic, only natural materials are supposed to be used in making it. So before buying the mattress, you should ask more regarding the materials the manufacturer used. Some of the most common materials used include Organic Latex, Natural wool and Organic cotton.

REVIEWS

Customers who have already purchased organic mattresses usually share their reviews on many platforms. It's a good idea to read some of these reviews. Reviews will give you more information about customers' experiences and their opinions about the various mattresses.
