Westlake's Eanes ISD Campuses Attain State's Highest Accountability Rating

All nine campuses in Westlake, Texas' Eanes Independent School District achieved the highest accountability rating from the Texas Education Agency. The District itself also earned the "Met Standard" designation. The Eanes District, which serves homes in Westlake, earned a score of 96 out of 100, and all campuses within Eanes earned scores ranging from 93 to 97.
All Eanes scores "significantly surpassed the minimum target score" in Student Achievement, Student Progress, Closing Performance Gaps, and Postsecondary Readiness, according to an Eanes ISD press release. Additionally, the schools in this upscale city outside of Austin received Distinction Designations for accountability measures in which they scored in the top quartile.
With a score of 95, Barton Creek Elementary earned designations in all six distinctions: Achievement in Reading/ELA, Achievement in Math, Achievement in Science, Student Progress, Closing Performance Gaps, and Postsecondary Readiness (STAAR score).
With a score of 96, Hill Country Middle School also earned designations in all six distinctions: Reading/ELA, Achievement in Science, Achievement in Social Studies, Student Progress, Closing Performance Gaps, and Postsecondary Readiness (STAAR score).
With a score of 97, Westlake High School was the final school to earn designations in all six distinctions: Achievement in ELA, Academic Achievement in Math, Achievement in Science, Achievement in Social Studies, Closing Performance Gaps, and Postsecondary Readiness.
West Ridge Middle School earned four distinctions, including Achievement in Reading/ELA, Achievement in Science, Closing Performance Gaps, and Postsecondary Readiness (STAAR score).
Of the remaining schools, Bridge Point Elementary near Lake Austin earned three distinctions, while Cedar Creek Elementary and Forest Trail Elementary earned two distinctions.
Eanes ISD and all of its schools also recently garnered Niche's top state and national rankings. Eanes ISD was named the number one district in the state for the third year in a row, with every Eanes school ranking at least in the top six in the state. With a grade of A+, Eanes ISD ranked 17th nationally.
The Eanes School District is a driving factor for Westlake real estate purchases and prices.
