Our company uses high-quality calcium carbide to produce acetylene gas and through high temperature pyrolysis, gain the black light powder, acetylene carbon black. Compared with other carbon common, it has light weight, small proportion and fine particles, and it disperses more evenly in counter electrodes. It boasts excellent acetylene formula, large specific surface area, favorable absorption performance, great liquid absorbability, stable chemical stability, good surface activity and high conductivity.

Functions and mechanism of acetylene carbon black:

Acetylene carbon black is pure amorphous carbon with excellent water absorption and adsorptivity, small resistivity and good conductivity. With black used, the conductivity of the lead active material is increased. In particular, during post-discharge, if the lead sulfate crystal is increased significantly, the feature of improving conductivity of lead active substances is more obvious. Meanwhile, addition of acetylene carbon black also increases the porosity and the amount of liquid in the plate, benefits the supply of acid at the time of discharge, and can improve the discharge performance of the plate and provide a higher discharge capacity at low temperature. Acetylene carbon black has strong absorbing performance, so it can adjust the distribution of surface active substances or organic bulking agents, reduce their excessive aggregation on the surface of lead and lead sulfate, and improve the charging capacity during the crystallization of metallic lead and lead sulfate. The increase in porosity is conducive to the diffusion of sulfate ions, prevents the discharge hole from blocking, and increases the real surface area of the electrode, which can greatly improve the battery performance.
