Tips for organizing the children?s room

Children give life at home. They make every day special and unique with their presence. But they also give innumerable reasons for cleaning and combining, since it's as easy as they can to make a house a real mess in a few seconds, and yet it sounds so difficult for them to tide up the place and get back all their toys in the place they are supposed to be. This does not mean, however, that you have to run after them all the time in order to gather their stuff! Some moms have followed the upcoming ideas of organizing and classifying children's room and they don’t have to worry about the kids’ room anymore. Let’s see the smartest of those.

Create a table specifically for children’s Lego toys

All you will need is a large base for Lego, which will act as the top of the table, and 6 drawer plastic boxes on which you will place or stick the base in which you put all the Lego toys. So they will always have a place to play with those toys, and in the end they will be fine-tuned.

Hanger for their costumes

If your kids like to wear their Halloween costumes during the whole year, a hanger especially for this purpose is what you need! You can make it yourself, or just buy a storage frame from one of the big house décor shops, and just put a rack for the hangers.

Metal chest of drawers for small toys

One more  practical way to assemble children’s toys , such as Lego and Play mobile, is a metal chest of drawers, which easily can be found in a home supplies’ store.

Shelter specifically for the action figures

You can make a metal wall sculpture in order to put all the kids’ favorite action figures in the order they like, so as it can remind them of their favorite superhero.

Plastic boxes for each toy

As the paper packaging of the toys is very easily damaged, you can easily put each toy in small plastic boxes, outside of which you can stick the cover of each game.

Puzzle bags

You can do the exact same thing for all the puzzle pieces. A big box or just a bag is what you need - if you can see through these bags, it is much easier for the kids to find the piece that is missing.

Plastic shoe cases for all the dolls

You can hang them on the back of the children's room door and you'll have no more worries about where your daughter’s favorite doll is.

Buy a blackboard for the weekly schedule

You can buy and place a blackboard in the room of your kids, writing down all the obligations of each member for each week, and make them feel responsible for their weekly duties. Do not forget to mention to every member of the family that he has to do any type of work required that is written on the board and follow the rules too.

Organized bags

You should make special hangers at the entrance of the house for each child’s school bag and do not let any of your kids placing it anywhere else in the house. If there is enough space you can hang your office or gym bag there too.

The Creation Bucket

You should buy and name a specific bucket as a creation one and put inside all the paintings and the tools that your kids use when they want to feel more creative.

The week’s clothes

Every child wastes a lot of time every morning in order to decide what to wear for school. You can ask them to pick what they want to wear on each day, and put them on shelves named after every day of the week. You can let them take this decision on Sunday evening in order to make them feel that a new week is about to come.

Storage boxes under the beds

If there is enough space under the children's beds, take advantage of placing boxes for storing all the things they rarely use or the clothes that are out of season.

Organizing the bathroom

Each child must have his towel and his toothbrush. You can place hangers with the name of each kid on them in order not to use any other’s things.

Textile bookcases

A Smart idea too is to put a handmade textile bookcase in the wall, so the kid is able to place all the books he reads every night before sleeping. It is much more suitable if he does not have a bedside table or if he sleeps on the bunk's upper bed.
