All possibilities of becoming a medical tourism hub in India

Medical Tourism in India - Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said that there are all possibilities of making the world the 'Medical Tourism' center in India and the Center's Modi Government has taken several important steps in this direction, in which the poor, Including easy access to weaker sections.

While addressing the program organized on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji in Bandra, Mumbai, Naqvi said that the Modi government has taken several such steps which have helped bring better health services affordable, accessible to the common people. Minority Affairs Minister said, "There are all possibilities of becoming the center of the world's medical tourism in India." He said that the central government is taking various steps on the priority basis to strengthen the medical system in which health services Budget of billions of rupees is also included. Initiating an initiative to provide affordable, quality health care to all people, the Government issued notification of fixing the maximum value of coronary stent and this revolutionary step would reduce the cost of the coronary stent by about 380 percent.

Medical Tourism in India - Naqvi said that the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has fixed prices within the required 60 days. They say that these new values do not have any adverse effects on the industry. The average maximum retail price of BMS and DES stent in the market was 45,000 rupees and Rs.121,000 respectively. It has been reduced to Rs. 7623 for BMS and Rs. 31,080 for DES. Thus on the basis of price reduction, patients will get the benefit of an average of 80-90 thousand rupees per stent, resulting in a gross relief of Rs 4450 crore in one year.

Naqvi said that the new maximum prices will go a long way in promoting the Make In India initiative. Given a large number of machines and other requirements, foreign companies will also manufacture medicines in India to cut costs and remain competitive. The Union Minister said that the central government is working on the battlefield to provide the best medical facilities in urban areas as well as in rural areas.Palliative treatment in India.

He said that medical doctors should work with the same emotions as 'Mission and Profession'. It is necessary to take care of the professional interest on commitment and not to dominate it. Naqvi said that we are happy that India is full of excellent and affordable medical facilities and capable doctors from all over the world.
