Path of Exile Breach update to incorporate inter-dimensional portals

You defintely won't be surprised to find out that free-to-play action RPG Path of Exile becomes another enormous update, this place adding inter-dimensional portals that transport that you a Hellish world called the Breach. If I'm reading this POE Goods article correctly, they're this can be the Oblivion portals from Oblivion, just with hopefully fewer scamps. (Man, scamps were annoying.) Anyhoo, developer Grinding Gear Games has detailed the Breach update here, before its imminent release on December 2.

Breach lobs inside a bunch of Breach Challenge Leagues, new 'orrible bosses named Breachlords, magical whatsits called Breachstones, along with a big pile of shiny loot for someone to find inside monster intestines. Revamped cloth and fog physics will also be to be expected, the previous being shown with the new cloak accessory items.
