The Consumer Complaints Council (CCC) of Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) has prohibited upwards of 214 ads out of 280 protestations it got crosswise over fragments amid March 2017. Out of 214 ads against which objections were maintained, 175 had a place with the Healthcare classification, 21 to the Education classification, trailed by seven in the Food and Beverages classification, and 11 notices from different classes, the self-administrative industry body said in an announcement.

The prohibited advertisements are from conspicuous organizations like Dr Batra's Positive Health Clinic (Dr. Batra's Homeopathy), Bharti Airtel Ltd (Free Data for a year and Free Unlimited Local + STD calls), Heinz India Pvt Ltd (Complan), LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd (LG Air Conditioner), Jasper Infotech Pvt Ltd (Snapdeal - Amway Persona 100% Pure Coconut Oil), TV Today Network Ltd (AajTak), TV 18 Broadcast CNN News18), Asian Paints Ltd (Smart Care Solutions), among others, they extend from FMCGs to cars, individual assistants to liquor, and training to media.
