National and State Level Entrance Test for B Tech Courses-

  1. VITEEE- Once in a year, the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is inviting 12th pass out students to enroll for VITEEE Entrance Test for its B Tech programs. This online examination will be held from 10th to 21st April 2019.

Eligibility Pattern for VITEEE-

  • A student should have completed the age limit of 17 years as on 1st July.
  • Qualifier must have completed his/her Intermediate in Science stream with an aggregate score of 60% marks.
  1. IIT JEE- The background of IIT JEE is conducted by the National Testing Agency for the futuristic scholars who want to pursue engineering from the multiple centers of IIT JEE. The examination is conducting to fill the multiple engineering seats at the origin of India.

Eligibility Pattern for IIT JEE-

  • An apprentice has to secure a minimum score of 75% or more in the qualifying exam of JEE Main.

Or

  • Should hold the top 20 percentile in their +2 boards or exams.
  1. BITSAT- The prestigious entrance test of BITSAT commonly known as BITS Pilani is conducted by the authorized body of Birla Institute of Technology and Science. Talking about the examination pattern it will follow the structure of Computer Based Test which carries 150 MCQs. The BITSAT 2019 applications are available in the month of May every year.

Eligibility Pattern for BITSAT-

  • The minimum marks for appearing in this examination are 75% with the qualifying subjects of Chemistry, Physics or Biology/ Mathematics.
  1. MJPRU- The Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU) arranges its competitive entrance test named as MJPRU for several college courses including B Tech, Law, B Pharm program. Apart from this, the college also avails the obtainable scores of UPSEE Entrance Test for the Uttar Pradesh origin candidates.

Eligibility Pattern for MJPRU-

  • Passed in 10+2 with PCB/M with an aggregate score of 45%.
  1. MHT-CET- The conductive body of Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra invites meritorious students of the state to enroll themselves for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) for the first year academies of Engineering courses (BE/ B Tech).

Scope of Engineering- Jobs & Career Opportunities

Engineering Admissions are done by the premises of various National or State level Entrance Test as we discussed above. Now the question is what is the Salary Package or Job opportunities will offer once you completed your engineering? The field of Engineering is completely depending upon the factors of Analytical, Technical, Interpersonal, Communication, and Creativity Skill. Students who completed their Bachelors of Engineering have an extensive career opportunity in both electronics and software companies. Industrial areas like consumer electronics, transportation, computer applications, television, electricity generation & distribution, aviation and avionics, telecommunications, and other offshore industries.

Companies like HCL Technologies, Wipro, Motorola, ISRO, Accenture, Samsung, Tech Mahindra, MTNL, TCS, Infosys, Conexant, Siemens, etc are open job vacancies for scholastic scholars of the country.
