Log into Router

192.168.1.1 is the default IP address of many D-Link and Netgear routers. It's the gateway of private IPv4 network address. Other common router IP addresses are 10.0.0.1, 192.168.1.1.

How to log into 192.168.1.1?

In order to access your router's console:

1. Open a web browser.

2. Type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar.

3. Enter your username and password then click Log In.

Once you access your router setting page, you can customize your settings. For example, you can change router name, username, and password. 

It is recommended to change your default router password.

If 192.168.1.1 is not working

If 192.168.1.1 page doesn't work, you need to check if it's your computer's gateway. To do this, click Start, type cmd then hit Enter. Next, enter ipconfig/all then press Enter.
