Use of pronoun in English!

The word pronoun is generally used, but in end it is quite much complicated as compared to just being the word that is used to replace any noun. At their base, that is what it is, but also there are different types, and some of these are mentioned briefly in below article. Also, you should also know that there is Indefinite Pronouns List that you may also refer.

Why do we use the substitute for names?

Rose is my favorite Flower. Rose is red in color. Rose has petals that are green and delicate.  

1B.  The Nouns in the above sentence will be substituted with "it."

Pronouns are basically the substitutes of noun. They usually substitute names as well as some of the other pronouns. With the use of the pronouns it avoids any kind of monotonous repetition at any point when you write or when you speak.

Tip: When you wish to make sure about choosing correct pronoun, even memorize three pronoun cases as well as the pronouns which perfectly fit into very such case.

There are usually three cases:

Subjective (Where the subjects come from such case)

Objective (Where the objects come from such case)

Possessive ( Where possessive pronouns arises from this)

Now, let us understand What Is a Personal Pronoun – The Personal pronouns help to directly replaces the persons, things as well as the places. At the same time, it is suggested that you should use these pronoun with great caution.

Subjective case – In case the pronoun is doing an action or subject

He is a player.

Objective case – The Objects of the verbs and also the objects of the prepositions

The manager looked at us.

Possessive case – It is when the expectation become real.

Interrogative pronouns – It is when you should asks the questions, such who, what and which

Relative pronouns – The group of words which perfectly relates to the antecedents

For Examples: who, which, whom and that

Indefinite – Such kind of pronouns does not always refer to the definite things or the persons.

For Examples: All, either, each, none, neither and anybody

Demonstrative – They are mainly the pointing pronoun and the Demonstrative Pronouns Examples are this, these, that and those.

Reciprocal - The only reciprocal pronouns are such as one another and Each other.

Reflexive are the selfish pronouns. They should be used in just one instance when it actually reflects on subject of sentence

For Example: I just wish to be myself.

Intensive – The Intensives are similar to the reflexive pronouns which always end with "self" or it might even end with selves. These are used for emphasize.

For Examples: we, you, ourselves and yourselves

Antecedent - It is a word which is referred by a pronoun. Pronouns must also agree in number with antecedent.
