The possibility that a kid is responsible for things isn't natural—it doesn't simply happen by itself. It should be coached, taught and learned.

In a few ways, no doubt, kids are not born with any responsibilities and all the work they do is by nature. They weep when they are starving or need something, and they go to the bathroom when they need to soothe themselves. 2. Begin Early

During an early stage of a child’s life, teach them to start taking responsibility for the things in which their presence is required. For example, have your child hold his toys before he goes to bed. Now, if he has a tough time focusing on that as he’s young, get down on the floor and collect them up with him. Pick one for them and then ask him to pick the other toys by themselves to tell him to take care of his responsibilities.

3. Set the Example

It’s crucial as a parent to fulfil all your responsibilities regularly and to label it while you do. The thing is that you are modelling the appropriate behaviour. Be the example. Being a parent, while you tell your kids you are going to something, it turns out to be your responsibility to do it.

4. Teach and Coach Responsibility

Teach your child to understand their responsibilities. Children must be coached and not only lectured to. A coach doesn’t go to the court himself/herself and hit the basketball for you. Rather, coaches work side by side. And they educate rather than criticize.
