Another ingredient is apple cider vinegar that also neutralizes bee venom. Soak the stunning area in apple cider vinegar for at least 15 minutes. Repeat the process that is mentioned above.

Toothpaste also is an effective bee sting treatment. The reason is not clear through. People state that the presence of alkaline in toothpaste neutralizes acidic honeybee venom. But it is one of the best ways to try at home.

Another better home remedy for reducing the pain and swelling. You can simply apply a wet aspirin or aspirin paste to the sting area. It helps in reducing the inflammation.

Aloe vera for soothing the skin and relieving pain. Just take out the gel, squeeze the gel and apply on the affected area.

Calendula cream is an antiseptic used to heal minor wounds and ease skin irritation. Apply the cream directly to the sting site and cover with a bandage.

The lavender essential oil has got anti-inflammatory properties that help reducing swelling. Dilute the essential oil with a carrier oil and apply the mixture o the affected area.

Tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic and helps in easing bee sting pain. Mix with a carrier oil and apply the drop to the sting area.

Traditional treatments for bee stings

Bee stings can be naturally treated with an ice pack for reducing pain and swelling.

There are anti-inflammatories like Motrin or Advil that help in treating itchiness and redness with the use of right calamine lotion.

If the itching is severe, you should take an oral antihistamine such as Benadryl may bring relief.

For reducing the risk of infection, do not scratch the sting bite. This will further increase the swelling and redness.

In case you are stung again, use an EpiPen may prevent a severe allergic reaction.
