Classic started in August and was a big hit to buy wow classic gold for Blizzard, but BlizzCon is likely to revolve around the modern variant of this MMO. Leaks indicate that Blizzard will reveal a brand new expansion for World of Warcraft, one which focuses on passing. If Blizzard would like to get people excited about this new expansion, it likely does not wish to distract them with a big announcement for Classic.
I am expecting Classic to find some love in the show. Blizzard will probably announce the release date for Blackwing Lair, the next raid. Blizzard is doling out Classic's first raids and content. This content is exactly the identical stuff that came into World of Warcraft before it launched its initial growth, Burning Crusade.But what occurs once Classic runs out of these raids in the first game? There are two likely scenarios.
Whatever Blizzard decides to do, I don't suspect we will find out BlizzCon. Blizzard still has content in the first World of Warcraft to maintain Classic players busy for about a year. And I suspect that Blizzard will want to alternate between updating the contemporary WoW and Classic, hoping to inspire players to jump between the two.The statement of World of Warcraft's next expansion is going to be the centerpiece of WoW's BlizzCon story this season. Classic fans might need to wait another year for an announcement as exciting as that. Classic came out on August 26.
