How to Deal With The Naughty Things Your Dogs do

Posted by ESA Letter on February 25th, 2020

Dogs easily become a part of our families. These adorable companions are man’s best friend. And they would do anything to please you. Dogs can also provide emotional and mental support. That’s why they are widely used as emotional support animals. If you also suffer from a mental or emotional health condition that requires an ESA, you can apply for an ESA letter in Houston. This letter will allow you to live and fly with your pet without paying any extra cost.

Now, coming back to our beloved dogs. These fur-companions can sometimes do many naughty things too. Our dogs love doing these naughty yet cute things. Do you ever return home and see the ‘guilt’ on your dogs’ faces? Yeah, this is an indication that they have done something wrong. So, here are some of the naughty things that your dogs do and how to handle them.

1. Checking What’s in The Bins

You must have faced this many times. You come back from work and you find the garbage from your bin on the floor. That’s enough to understand the whole story that your dogs found their way into the bins. And while they were searching for ‘something’, they spread the bin’s rubbish all over your kitchen. This can be dangerous for your dogs if they have eaten anything from that bin which is not good for them. So, you must get a dog-proof bin that will ensure that your dogs don’t eat anything from the bins.

Destroying The Sofa

2. Destroying The Sofa is Their Hobby

Sofas are the primary targets of dogs. They find it very hard to resist it. Especially small pups, who just want to chew on anything they can. It can be really frustrating for you to see your sofa is destroyed by your dogs.

Train your dogs well to avoid this problem. Start training them from a young age. Also, train them to stay in their crates when you are out of your home.

3. Poop Accidents

Well, it’s OK to witness these accidents sometimes. As a dog owner, it’s a part of our life to clean these accidents. Any dog can do this. Whether you have small pups or fully grown dogs. The only thing you can do to reduce these accidents is house training your dogs. Train them well with positive reinforcement. And it’s okay if you witness these accidents sometimes even after the training, sometimes they just can’t hold it in.

4. Your Dogs Are Escape Artists

Dogs can be very sneaky at times and they can easily find some ways to escape. And then you will have to run around in search of your dogs. Often they return home themselves after exploring the neighborhood a bit. But, if this is happening too much, you have to think of ways to stop your dogs from escaping. Start with installing high fences. Enclosed your garden well so that your dogs can’t find a way out.
