The deep drawn stamping process transforms a blank or flat sheet metal into a hollow vessel that may be cylindrical, square, rectangular or irregular shaped, with straight or tapered sides or a combination of straight, tapered and curved sides.  We cater to wide ranging product shapes sizes including round, rectangular, square or complex shapes.

DEEP DRAWN CAN

For more than 70 years, National Manufacturing Co., Inc.has been producing precision deep drawn cans, cases, enclosures and stampings. Deep drawing requires tooling such as a punch, blank holder and die. A punch is forced against a material blank and the desired form is shaped by drawing the material through the die.

Deep drawn cans can be produced using a variety of materials including  stainless steel, cold rolled steel, aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, nickel, titanium, tantalum, Monel®,  Hastelloy®, Kovar®, Inconel®, Mumetal®.
