CET 2020 (Common Eligibility Test): Get to Know Exam Date, Vacancies, Eligibilit

About CET Exam:

Government of India proposed Common Eligibility Test (CET 2020) for group B and group C posts currently. Now neither aspirants need to take multiple exams nor to pay multiple application fees for various public sector jobs. CET will also reduce the time taken in the selection process.


  • The score of this CET test will be valid for 3 years from the date of declaration.
  • Each candidate will have two additional chances to improve his score.
  • Final selection made by specialized exams to be conducted by the respective agencies.
  • State and Union Territories may also CET score for state level-exams.

As per the latest GOI data, there are total 6, 83,823 posts are vacant in central departments. If we separate them group wise then Group C have 5, 74,289, Group B have 89,638 and Group A have 19,896 posts are vacant. All the Bank, SSC and RRBs jobs will be covered through this one Common Eligibility Test (CET).

The eligibility criteria for the CET (Common Eligibility Test) exam is depend on which kind of group you are applying for. It is same like earlier if you are applying for Bank jobs you must have completed your graduation.
