Going to Italy is a dream vacation for so many people.  With the remarkable amount of history it can feel overwhelming.  Choosing a specific region can narrow down your options a bit.  Finding things to see in Florence will certainly be an easy task.  There are so many things to choose from that your trip will be full of adventure.

While in Florence, you may wish to decide where to go in Tuscany.  There are so many historical tiny towns in Tuscany and so much art to see at every turn.  The architecture alone can take your breath away.  The medieval buildings seem to be everywhere.  Cathedrals with frescoes splashed all over the interior are a must to see.

You may want to consider checking your resources while planning your vacation.  Deciding where to visit in Tuscany should be done long before you are ready to leave.  You can go wine tasting and take vineyard and winery tours.  Or you can spend an afternoon relaxing in one of the many beautiful and lavish gardens in Tuscany.

Gorgeous statues and sidewalk cafes are only a few of the things to see in Florence.  The town squares are littered with culture and beauty.  It is impossible to escape it.  Some of the buildings allow visitors to gain access to the top to get panoramic view of the historical cities below.  You can watch sunset you will never forget from these buildings.

You will need to know where to go in Tuscany for a delicious meal as well.  The best way to find fantastic food is to ask locals.  Local residents will be able to steer you way from the places packed with tourists.  They will likely point you in the direction of small, family owned restaurants that have been around for decades.  These are the best places to eat.

Asking for advice on sites can only get you so far.  Only you can decide where to visit in Tuscany.  What might be the greatest adventure ever for some people might be dreadfully boring for you.  Get a feel for the areas and follow your instincts.  You will know when the opportunity to see the right attraction comes up.

You may want to spend a morning just walking around the area you are staying.  It may be exciting to take day trips and tours, but a day of just hanging around locally can be exhilarating as well.  You won’t have to figure out where to go in Tuscany because you can figure it out when you get there.

Most of all, you should keep an open mind.  There are so very many things to see in Florence. If you try to do too much you will get overwhelmed.  Being exhausted on vacation is not the way to go.  Pace yourself and treat yourself to some fun.
