Koratala Siva is the director and the film is aimed at 2021 summer release in May. Chiranjeevi already clarified that his son Ram Charan will be seen essaying a crucial role in Acharya but there is no clarity on when Ram Charan would join the shoot of RRR. Charan is shooting for RRR in the direction of SS Rajamouli currently. Going with the current update, Charan will join the sets of Acharya from January 2021. He will complete his portions in a single schedule till February. Chiranjeevi too will be present for the shoot. Kajal is the leading lady and Rashmika is expected to romance Charan in a small role in Acharya. Manisharma is composing the music for this social drama and Matinee Entertainments are the producers.
